Does anyone here like yuri?????

I noticed no one has been talking about anything yuri here... hmmm... Anywho, I only like a few pairings (and some I just make up) Like, for example, Rion X Shihoko (Bloodhound) and Natsumi X Miyuki (You're Under Arrest)... I was just wondering if anyone liked yuri at all here.

I mean, if you look on the web, yuri is really hard to find, and the best you can hope for is that you stumble over it during one of your little tours of yaoi and shonen ai interested sites... [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img]

I like anything from shoujo ai like Utena to really smutty Yuri Hentai - its not a big love like my Yaoi love but its certainly warms me up quite often [img]smile.gif[/img]

as for the non- hentai Yuri, which is suposed to be aimd at women rather than men - it hardly exist, really really hard to find.

I used to like yuri until some time ago.

One of the reasons being that just like a ton of hentai stuff, you could barely find good ones. Instead, it's worse than pwp 'cos of the cheesy plot.

Anywho, I'm more interested in making my own fics *I usually write with my best friends* One time we really got a good plot, but we did the fic over the phone so nothing was written down... I think it was a huge crossover with clock tower *one* Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy 7, and our own Original Characters. >_< I regret not having it written down. It was soooo sad... My character and my best friend's character were the pairings in the end *they were BI, since my character had a relationship with Dante, and my friend's character had a relationship with Sephiroth.* But they both die in the end. We even added background music to it!! *the piano thingy in Gensou Maden Saiyuuki... ;_;* Soooo... sad... That was one of the fics that REALLY made me cry... *sniff*

Hrm. I'm not a big fan of yuri. I don't know, but if the story is highly recommended to me by a lot of others, I WILL eventually read it.

Utena, that was quite interesting. I've never seen the series, only the movie, and it was symbolic as hell. Crazy stuff.

Other than that....I don't really know any good yuri anime that I've seen. I'm not a fan of Sailor Moon at at all.... heh. ^^;;

Yuri can be good, but as Yuri21 pointed out, it's mostly CRAP! All you ever end up with is stuff to make perverted fanboys happy. Just sex, sex, sex, and no plot. I only like my ecchi stuf if it has plot IE Love Mode, FAKE, etc. It's exactly the reason I won't watch boku no sexual harrasement. But anyway, back on topic. Good yuri is hard to find. I think I've only ever read one yuri fic, and no suprise, as it was well written, it was Noir. You have to choose the right series. Things like Noir and Utena prolly produce the best yuri fic. On a lighter note, if you want something funy that's a bit yuri ecchi, might I reccomend clamp's "Miyuki chan in wonderland". It's really more of a comedy than anything else.

I like both yuri and shoujo-ai, but not as much as shounen-ai and yaoi :heh: I love reading good yuri fanfics! Alas, they are so hard to find - I must tread many a treacherous link on ff.net and the likes until I find something worthy of my attention ... [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]

I'm fond of the Utena manga (have not read much, but so good! not yuri... but then again, many things aren't) and would very much like to see the anime - too bad I need region 2 coded DVDs (bwaah). I wanna live in the States too!

Anyway... Yuri is good. So is yaoi. The steamier, the better. (In the end that just shows that I like sex between all genders - mix and match! - 'cause I'm a big pervert. Whee. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] )

i don't mind yuri and reading them but i'm not really into it like my a bit obsession for yaoi. and yeah.. i haven't heard much about yuri soo that also might be the reason why. and well... the guys in yaoi are hot... [img]wink.gif[/img] that's also part of the reason. heh..

i guess i don't mind reading about them if anyone recommends a good one. i read one shot story which was ok.. it was cute and very simple. but yeah.. i don't know much about yuri.. [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img]
